I was recently asked by a brand new company called Treats to your door to review one of their boxes. After a little bit of research into who this company was I was thrilled. My weakness is sweeties so anything to fuel this is a yes from me! I was asked to purchase one box at the price of £3.50inc deliveryand then review it. The company has promised to send out an additional 2 boxes free of charge which I thought was extremely kind.
Placing An Order
This was super easy to do, I believe they are Instagram based comapny so to order a box I sent them a DM message to which they replied really quickly. I passed on my shipping details and payed via paypal. I received an order confirmation email within seconds of placing the order. I cant fault this at all. Great service.
Unfortunately I cant give this a shining review. Delivery took over 4 weeks. I do however understand that the snow fall earlier this month threw a massive spanner in the works and boxes had gone missing and took a while to be delivered. this is completely understandable and expected if I am honest. When I contacted Treats to your door questioning where my parcel is they replied very apologetic and explained the issues they were having with the snow. At the end of this message they explained if I hadn’t received my box within the next couple of days please get back in touch.
With that in mind I waited still very pleased with the overall service. A week went by and still no parcel so I messaged again. To my surprise I had no reply. I continued contacting them with no replies. I was very disappointed.
After a few people on twitter started discussing the company and explaining they had the same issues as me, I had kinda given up hope of receiving my box. but then to my surprise my box was delivered! the box itself was extremely bent up with a huge hole in it. and peering through I could see that a lot of the sweets were loose in the box.
The box itself was plain with a hand written address. when I opened the box I was greeted by a little thank you note that explained they were sorry for the delay. (Lovely touch) and they explained what sweets I had received. The box was plain and presentation was sort of bland. I think some sort of tissue paper or some sort of colour would really make this box stand out, but all companies have to start somewhere. Some of the sweets where wrapped in a little plastic wallet which made the perfect little snack size. Unfortunately I assume due to transit a lot of my sweets had fallen out of these little plastic pockets.
In my box I received:
- Love hearts
- white chocolate Jazzies
- Fried Eggs
All the sweets tasted amazing and where all off high quality. I could not fault them at all! I wish the box did contain a few more sweets but I’m greedy so I will always want more haha!
Overall I would give the box a 6/10 a think its a really lovely idea that with a little more work could easily become a 10 out of 10!

As some of you may know this year is mine and liams first Christmas in our flat. We have absolutely loved decorating the flat out for Christmas and I am super pleased with our decorations and how the flat looks. I thought I would share with you what our flat looks like all christmassy, maybe it will give you some inspiration or if your like me you will enjoy looking at and being nosy at our festive flat.
Our living room is mainly where we spend our time so we kept this room as the main decorated room. we have our tree here too. If you would like to see a more in depth tree tour click the link here.
ill start of by showing you how we have decorated our storage heater, do not worry we are not using this heater so its absolutely perfectly safe to decorate it. We chose to use some silver tinsel and I added a home made snowman a little sign another snowman,a jar of tiny baubles and lastly a winter spice reed diffuser. I love this little set up.
On my out TV unit we have decorated it with a few little ornaments too, we have also filled a big glass vase with baubles and lights. its so simple but I think it looks so pretty and festive.I found this glittery sign in a local shop and I love how these looks side by side. On the other side of the unit, I have placed a light up snowman and father Christmas, a nativity scene and another home made fairy decoration.
Our living room has a big bay window so we filled that with lots of festive bits and bobs. Including a singing Santa and snowman sweet container and candy canes. I love these three together and I especially love all the yummy treats we can fill the snowman’s belly with. to fill the rest of this large space we decided to put up another tree in the centre. This is a little 2ft tree from B&M bargains, I brought this last year but I am sure you can find these pretty much anywhere. we decorated this with gold baubles and red beading.the tree has built in lights too which we found so helpful and convenient. To finish this space of we hung a tinsel stocking and a Christmas hat in the window and hung some red tinsel aswell. I think this is my favourite little nook of the flat at the minute.
Next to the main Christmas tree we have a huge shelving unit. this is pretty full with all our junk so I didn’t have much space to turn christmassy. So I just placed a glittery sign that says “let it snow” and placed these three little guys. more on these on my Christmas decorations haul post. And to finish of our living room we brought some fleece blankets super cheap from the original factory shop for £4 each to cover our sofas. these are not the best quality but I love how they look and they do make the sofa super cosy.
And that is our living room full of Christmas and I love it! if you would like to see any more of our Christmas flat tour then let me know. I didn’t want this post to be too long you see.
If you have not seen my last post then you can find it here. I hope your having a wonderful December full of lots of Christmas activities and festivities. I would love to hear all about it.
