Holiday Look Book

So this is the last post in my little holiday series, we started off with a cabin tour then two holiday diary and now we are finishing with my holiday look book. Im excited, are you?

these are my outfits that I wore during my week in Norfolk.Ill start of with the items i wore alot! due to space in suitcases and practicalities I only took a few items. But i tried to create a couple of different outfits from a very limited wardrobe. How do you think I did?

My coat is from Dorothy Perkins and I love it! its the perfect length for me, being small I find this is always a struggle, but Dorothy Perkins have created a coat perfectly for me, the hood is small enough to actually fit round my head so that I can still see ( always a bonus) if your interested in this coat click the link here!

I wore the same boot pretty much everyday, these boots are mega old and brought super cheaply from the original factory shop, these boots were perfect in keeping my toes warm and comfy while on walks and exploring the town.

20171116_194301Today I wore a jumper that I recently brought from the Charity shop, check out my charity shop haul here! the jumper was from primark originally and I love it. I wore my black Eden jeans from Dorothy Perkins these are my favorite kind of jeans, they stay black for ages and are very hard wearing, I would highly recommend. I curled my hair and wore minimum makeup. I wanted today to be comfy as we was travelling.

Today I decided to wear a black jumper from the charity shop, that was originally from next. I loved wearing this jumper, it defiantly kept me warm during our woodland walk. I matched this with Blue wash Eden jeans from Dorothy Perkins, along with my blue boots and coat.

Today was a busy day out! its was super misty and foggy as well so was really hard to get photos, so sorry about the quality! Once again I wore my black Eden Jeans from Dorothy Perkins, along with my coat and boots. I wore with it a super old button shirt from Primark. its a super warm shirt that I have had for years and its kept really well, hopefully they still do these as I would love to purchase more of them.

I’m not going to lie to you I spent all day in my pjs, yep don’t judge me! however we did go out for dinner so I did get ready and dressed for that. I decided to wear black leggings from gold digger (these are the best black leggings!)  and another charity shop shirt, that was originally from Dorothy Perkins. to cover my toes I wore some little black heals from New look.  I curled my hair and slapped some makeup on my face. I was ready to go!

Today was a greasy hair, no makeup kinda day, we were travelling home so I’m guessing that’s okay :/ I wore black leggings again from gold digger and a top from Primark, I love this top its so pretty. it was very chilly today so I wore it with a black cardigan from Matalan and off course my boots, scarf and coat.

And that’s what I wore during my winter holiday, because we was doing so much walking and the weather was freezing warmth and comfort was of top priority! This is also the last holiday post in the little series, this makes me sad as now I feel like the holiday is really over, now to look forward to BLOGMAS! exciting posts ahead so keep a look out for those!

Holiday Diary 2017 Part Two

Long story short me and Liam went away for a winter woodland break and I wanted to share our adventures with you, If you wanted to be nosy and have a look at our accommodation click the link here and it will take you to our cabin tour. Tomorrow at 11am I will be uploading my holiday look book so if that your cup of tea set your alarms for that. Righty That should be you all caught up with whats going on, here goes….

Day Four

After all the excitement from yesterday we both decided we wanted another chill out relaxing at the lodge, Especially as this was our last day, Time had gone so quicklyIMG_3625 but I started to miss our flat back home. In the morning Liam went to the gym and I went swimming, it was lovely to spend a little bit of time apart I loved having the space to clear my mind of everything and just focus on me at the moment in time. I was the only one in the pool at it was amazing. I spent some time thinking about my blog IMG_3643plans for the future and took some time to just breath and be in my own space.

After my swim I felt refreshed and excited to see Liam. We then as planned spent the afternoon and evening dancing round the cabin to top 40 countdowns, reading books, laughing and watching rubbish TV. As much as I love busy days visiting places, days like these are my favorite. In the cabin we was in our own little bubble where nothing else mattered and we didn’t have to think of any one else. I loved it and that’s something I want to recreate more.

20171116_18233320171116_185825We ended the day by having one last meal in the restaurant. We both decided to go for the gammon steak a choice neither of us regretted it was by far the best gammon steak we had ever eaten. finished with ice cream sundaes. we were full and ready to head back to the cabin to pack our bags and have one final dip in the hot tub.

Day Five

IMG_3673Our last morning in the cabin and it was an early one! I was tired before all the traveling had begun and worst of all. I cam on my shitting period haha! I was grumpy and stroppy. I felt sorry for Liam I was like a dragon that was ready to explode. Things were not looking good for our day of travelling. However I put on my big girl knickers (Literally) sucked it up and wore a smile on my face, lets do this. We got are suitcases together our big coats on and we said goodbye to oak cabin two, although sad I was looking forward to getting into my own bed in my own space. even more so now I was cramping like a 20171117_110732good`un. We headed back into Cromer and had a wonder around Morrison’s and had a huge lunch, Liam went all out with a breakfast and I had a scrumptious macaroni cheese. we had some time to kill before our train so we stayed in the café and I did some blog planning, while Liam made use of the IMG_3677customer free WiFi. Our journey home was nice and easy, no trains delayed and everything was plain sailing, exactly how I like it. At around 4pm we opened the door to our home for a cup of hot earl grey tea.

So thats the end of our holiday, I hope you have enjoyed having a look at what we got up to? I would to hear about any holidays you have been on recently! let me know. Don`t forget that tomorrow will be a holiday look book for you to have a look at.

Holiday Diary 2017 Part One

I have just come home from an AMAZING Monday to Friday winter break with Liam, I feel as if I need a holiday to recover from the holiday I’m shattered haha! We decided we wanted a really relaxing, chilled out holiday that involved doing very little and eating ALOT of food, and that’s exactly what we did. I am going to share with you what we got up to in this two part holiday diary series. Ill be posting part two tomorrow at 11 am so make sure you keep an eye out for that! Hope you enjoy having a little nose at what we got up to, I love posts like these so if you have any let me know!

Day One

Today we woke up super early, we had so much to do! a quick breakfast was followed  20171113_175838by cleaning, packing and family visiting us. It was a busy20171113_114150 morning but we got everything we wanted to get done finished so we felt completely ready to relax while on holiday! When we arrived at the train station we had ages to wait so we stopped for a hot chocolate to pass the time and most importantly warm up, it was freezing. two trains later and a short bus journey we had arrived. Our home for the week, Oak Cabin 2 if you want to have a nose at what this looked like and what it included I have a whole post about it here. The cabin was lovely and even had our own hot tub. We decided to have our dinner at the onsite restaurant it was lovely although a little on the pricey side. The food was near to perfection and was served beautifully.IMG_3531 After our meal we had a quick dip in our hot tub then straight to sleep. It was a busy day travelling but we was here. Our winter holiday had begun.20171113_160532.jpg

Day Two

Today we decided to wake up late and have a lazy morning, lounging around in our pjs not really doing much, it was lovely and well needed. After a quick pasta lunch we got 20171114_094321dressed at went for a walk around the site. the site was beautiful and looked just like a typical autumn scene. we IMG_3540walked around the woods and the lake and took some pictures along the way for my up coming holiday look book.

On our travels we picked up a form to fill in for the gym and swimming pool we hurried back to the cabin for a cup of tea to warm up and to fill the forms in. at around 2.30pm we got ready to go the gym. I felt amazing after a workout and its inspired me to keep to my Novemeber goals. Evening Came around and we was starving, so off we went for yet another delicious meal in the restaurant. Lasagne for me and cod and chips for Liam.IMG_3563 20171114_183938

Day Three

Today was our busy, going out day. We woke up early had breakfast and of we went to catch the bus into my favourite town, Cromer.IMG_3565.JPG 20171115_134712It was a reasonably warm day although a little cloudy and extremely misty and foggy, all the same it was beautiful, I was happy and content. I didn’t want the day to end. Walking hand in hand with Liam in and out of all the little boutiques and little gift shops I was in heaven. If you love this sort of thing you must go to Cromer its full of little shops like this. 20171115_122730.jpgAt around 11.30 we was starving so we headed to Cromer No 1 fish and chip shop. With views of the sea and pier, great food and amazing company I was on cloud 9. After lunch we walked along the pier. By now it was very misty and foggy and you could hardly see the sea but nonetheless a walk along the pier was lovely.20171115_132641.jpg We also visited the lifeboat museum that’s at the end of the pier, this was surprisingly interesting.(lifeboats are not really my thing) 20171115_133219.jpgMy visit in Cromer was perfect. Before we headed back to the cabin we popped into Iceland, we brought everything for a buffet, yep a buffet for just two people. Our evening was concluded by stuffing our faces from the buffet and watching a Christmas movie. PERFECT!

So that’s part one of our winter holiday diary, make sure you have a read of part two to see what we got up to next.

Oak Cabin 2– Holiday Accomodation

You may or may not be aware that me and Liam have been away for a lovely winter holiday break in the heart of Norfolk England. We have loved our stay in our little Cabin and I wanted to share it with all of you. For the Next week I will be uploading lots of holiday related posts including a holiday look book and lots of posts about what we have been up to. I wanted to document it all for my own memories too and I love sharing my life with you so it’s a win for everyone (I hope)

The Park:

The park we have stayed in was perfect as it was very tranquil and quite. It had breath taking views perfect for a winter break away. The site itself was set in the middle of nowhere as neither me or Liam drive it was vital that we had buses and with a bus that ran every half an hour we could fairly easily get into the beautiful town Cromer however a car would be recommended. The site was set in a large woodland areas hence the name “woodlands” you could stay in either caravans, cabins or lodges by the looks of things all the accompanies looked amazing however as we only stayed in a cabin we can only really discuss that.

The actual park didn’t really have much to do. However that what me and Liam really wanted, They have an onside restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was near to perfection. although a little pricey it was defiantly worth the price. Next to the restaurant was a tiny arcade room this definitely passed half and hour is so after our evening meal. Me and Liam loved using the gym while we was away. And I used the swimming pool both of these facilities were kept to a high, clean standard. In addition to these there was plenty of woodland walks to keep you occupied. overall me and Liam love the park and I’m sure we will return again one day.

The Cabin:

We stayed in Oak Cabin 2. We was blown away with how lovely this Cabin was. It was better than we could ever imagine and it really made the holiday even more amazing! The Cabin was lovely and spacious and perfectly clean. The Cabin was kept really REALLY warm which sounds lovely however me and Liam could not stop sweating haha! we had to turn down the heating by a lot. However I think it’s always better to be hot than cold. When we arrived we was also supplied a small welcome pack that included; Milk, bread, jam, tea, coffee and sugar this was a lovely little touch. The Cabin also included a private and secluded hot tub which was used ALOT during the break. This was an added extra which was very much appreciated.

The Cabin included…

Double bedroom with ensuite bathroo

Twin bedroom

Large family bathroom

Reasonable sized living area with Free view TV and DVD player

Large dinning room table with chairs

Fully equipped Kitchen

Hot Tub

I hope you have enjoyed reading and looking through the pictures of our Cabin that we have stayed in. I would love to hear about anywhere you have stayed, send me link of amazing hotels and unique places to spend a holiday would love to see what about! As always feel free to get in touch ❤️
